In Dodaco our aim is to never stop improving: since 2010 our research team has been analysing the standard filling system and experimenting with new technologies. This translates into constant process innovation and continuous technological updating in the filling of stand up pouches for food.
Thanks to the research work of the team of biologists and engineers, the spout pouch filling process devised by Dodaco has completely solved and overcome the most common critical points present in other systems. The production line has been modified to:
eliminate all blind spots in the production system
solve the problem of browning the product
minimise the loss of flavourings and nutritional components (vitamin C) in order to avoid the addition of additives thanks to an innovative system of preparation for the packing
increase the quality standards by exploiting new technologies for process automation
reduce processing times with the introduction of a robotised packaging system that allows boxing products starting from bulk, offline cartons
reduce CO2 costs and emissions thanks to the optimisation of plants and their small size, obtained by integrating the production system of recipes with the control, identification and management of non-compliance
In addition, thanks to a research project carried out in collaboration with the University of Salerno, Dodaco can boast a high pressure sterilisation system capable of working up to 120 ° C in order to preserve over time all the nutritional characteristics of vegetables – as well as fruit – without having to modify the PH of the product with additives that risk altering flavours and aromas, as well as guaranteeing the availability of any product, in or out of season.
With the University of Salerno and in particular the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dodaco has consolidated a collaboration in research and development for the creation of nutritional products’ recipes for children and the elderly.
