Spout pouches and caps: Babycap
Always focused on the needs of our customers, at Dodaco we offer the possibility of replacing the classic screw cap usually used for Doypack and Cheerpack closure with a selection of special caps. Today we show you the features of the Babycap.
Dodaco is a food packaging company specialised in filling stand up pouches with organic fruit and vegetable purees. Our polylaminate food packaging is always equipped with a straw in order to be easily usable and reclosable. Considering that one of the applications for our products is babyfood, our customers have the possibility to choose one variant of the classic screw cap to make their product safer for kids: the Babycap.
The Babycap is considered globally as the standard in terms of closure for spout pouches used for children’s products. This cap is anti-suffocation, a characteristic attributed to it by its 33 mm diameter which makes it complex to ingest and the presence of holes which, even in the case the cap was swallowed, would still allow breathing.
The Babycap is made of HDPE (high density polyethylene), weighs 2.72 g, and it is available in PE (Polyethylene) or PP (Pipolipropylene) for sterilisation and it is suitable for straws with a diameter of 8.6 mm and 14 mm. This special cap is produced in 10 colour variants (red, yellow, purple, green, orange, light blue, blue, brown, black and white) and equipped with anti-tamper closure to guarantee complete product protection.
